It has been unseasonably warm here in southeastern Michigan. The temperature has been hovering around 50 degrees for the last few days - a December heat wave in my books. The only time I ever really want snow is Christmas and as of right now it doesn't look like I will be getting it. Wahhhh! Oh well, I will dry my tears and console myself with a cookie or two.... or ten and possibly a pie. I feel my butt growing as we speak. It will reach Kardashian status in 3...2...1.
Today I am participating in Bloggers Rock the Colors of Christmas. I am wearing a few colors on the list: blue, green, white and just a touch of gold.
My mom thrifted this gorgeous skirt for me this past weekend and I couldn't wait to wear it. I love the rich fabric and pleating. I paired it with a striped top, blazer, statement necklace and cute flats for a work appropriate look.
Shirt and Blazer: Charlotte Russe, Skirt: Thrifted from Salvation Army (Thanks, Mom!),
Necklace: JC Penney, Shoes: Loft
Here is how you can get a similar look.

Do you like how I rocked the holiday heat wave?
