Hello fellow fashion lovers! Hope you are all having a lovely weekend. I decided to wear a color today I do not own or wear a lot of: Army Green. I tend to like it as a great neutral, but for some reason I just never think to wear it. My mom was kind enough to buy me four pair of colorful tights (in case you are a new reader to my blog, I have a bit of an obsession with colored and patterned tights) that she found for $1 a piece. My mom is pretty awesome, I've probably mentioned that too.
These were one of those pair and I was really eager to wear them since I haven't ever had a pair of tights from the green family. I paired the tights with a similar colored button down top that was lost in the abyss that is my closet, a black faux leather skirt, multi-strand necklace and leopard print heels for fun.
Skirt: H&M, Necklace and Bracelet: Kohl's, Tights: Gift (JC Penney),
Leopard Heels: Clothes Mentor, Top: Old (Can't remember)
What do you think of this look?
I really like your tights!

Nice styling with the green tights! I got a similar pair but hardly wear them since I'm not sure what goes with them. But you just gave me some ideas! :)

I love that skirt, and that color combination is really cool.
ReplyDeleteGreen and leopard is one of my favourite combinations...I think you look absolutely spectacular! Way to make that leather skirt casual for daily wear too, the olive green works great with it.

Oooh!! I really love that skirt! I like the length and that it's not insanely short. I'm guessing you could bend down to pick something up and NOT flash someone! Haha, very cute outfit my dear!

For colored tights for St. patty's day
ReplyDeleteI really kind of love army green, which is a recent development. I think it always looks great with black, so this outfit is a great way to ease into the color. Plus, you can't go wrong with leopard heels!
