Ok, so this outfit totally makes me feel like a Southern Belle. I feel like I should be sitting on a patio, drinking sweet tea, fanning myself and saying things like "I do declare" and "Bless her pea-picking heart." The pearls really add to that whole effect. But that's okay, I love the south and the spirit of classic ladies.
When I saw this dress at Maurices (I am constantly going to have to hide my wallet from myself working there, you guys), I was so in love with the vibrant lemon zest color and cute lace detail at the bottom. Then I tried it on and knew I had to have it. I paired it with a multi-strand pearl necklace, a funky tulle headband and some flats, since I was working and heels don't cut it when you have to stand so much.
