Hello all! The more I look at this outfit, the more I feel like I look like an Astro Pop or like I am trying really hard to be patriotic. I got complimented on it though, so it must not have weirded the masses out. I bought this skirt for $1.20! How could I possibly say no to that? That vibrant blue AND accordian pleats? Shut the front door.
The choice of the red top was just kind of happenstance. I happened to see it at the top of my dresser and decided to roll with it. Do you think it's too much?

I don't think it's too much at all! I love the combination of that blue and red - and besides, since the blue's on the lighter/brighter side, it doesn't really look patriotic. This is a fantastic outfit and it looks fabulous on you!
