What I'm Wearing: In a Neon Accent

Hello my beauties! How are you all doing? I cannot get on a schedule where my blogging is consistent. For that, I apologize. I've been missing all of you and missing commenting on all of your blogs too! I actually wore this outfit yesterday to work. My mom picked me up several neon belts at A'gaci while she was in Texas on vacation and I was dying to bust one out.

Is anyone else just absolutely adoring neon accessories as much as I am? I think it's the true 80s child coming out in me. I went for a retro loop on the front of my ponytail too. I was just really wanting to be a throwback I suppose. I really liked this outfit and the way the neon danced off the navy dress background. Cute, no?

What I'm Wearing: Hello Dahhhling

Hello my fabulous fellow fashionistas! Are you all having a great week? I hope so.  I went as one of the representatives of maurices to a Chamber of Commerce event at the country club this morning so naturally I had to bring a bit of glamor. I just love this derby hat. It makes me feel fabulous. Polka dots, bow adorned heels and a fabulous hat is a no-fail combo in my opinion. I got tons of compliments on this all day. What do you think of it?

What I'm Wearing: A Free Dress

Hello lovely people! I've been far too absent lately. I mean to change that and get consistent again. Yesterday marked the beginning of a long and busy wedding season which means lots and lots of showers. Yesterday was my sister-in-laws bridal shower, so we made the 2 hour drive to get to it and it was absolutely lovely.

 I decided to wear this dress I won from work. There was a contest that whoever sold the most dresses in the store that week would win a free dress of their choice. Naturally, my competitive side took over and I ended up selling the most - a free dress was on the line after all. I had my eye on this fun hi-lo dress for awhile and when I tried it on I knew I had to have it. I love all of the colors in it.
Makes me a happy gal.

What I'm Wearing: Feeling Feisty

So the quality of these photos are craptastic and I apologize for that. I am taking these at 10:30pm after working so I am a bit of a hot mess and apparently my camera felt the same. Sorry I have been a spotty poster. My schedule is odd and it feels like life has been busy lately.

I was feeling like busting out a feisty outfit today. It doesn't get much feistier than a good cheetah print. I decided to pair the skirt with a mustard colored tie neck top, an embellished belt, wedges and a pyramid bracelet. What makes you feel feisty?

What I'm Wearing: Bows, Polka Dots and Stripes, Oh My!

Happy Weekend, my loves! I had a good day at work and I hope it was the same for all of you. On top of that the weather has been gorgeous. I decided to wear my favorite print mix of all time: stripes and polka dots. I love these classic prints and even more so paired together. This top and my eyes met from across the aisle at Macy's and I knew it was love. A bow on a striped tank? Oh Tommy Girl, you know me so well.  What is your favorite print mix?

What I'm Wearing: Hippie for a Day

You know what I love most about fashion? The fact that I can be who I want to be whenever I want to be. I like to think of myself as a style chameleon because so many different styles appeal to me and I will wear them all. Today I chose to give a nod to the 70s with light wash flares, floral top, over-sized vest, and fringed bag. I wear skinny jeans so often that the flares were a great and refreshing departure.

What I'm Wearing: Striped

Hello lovelies! Hope you're all having a fabulous day! Is there a particular item of clothing you are terrified to wear? One of those pieces for me is stretchy/body-con skirts. I think the reason I am scared to wear them is that I carry my weight through my hips, thighs and bootay. Even though I am very reluctant to even try these skirts, this one came into work and I knew I wanted it. I tried it on, and surprise, surprise I really liked it! So here I am in my body con skirt. Who knew?

What I'm Wearing: Pretty in Pink

Happy Weekend, everyone! Hope you are all enjoying some relaxation or fun events. I've had a great week! I actually wore this outfit on Thursday to work, but I'm just now getting around to posting it. It was quite warm and I wanted to be comfortable while I worked but still look chic. How did I achieve that? Well, I'm a firm believer that a blazer classes an outfit up instantly. So I chose this pretty pink blazer my mom bought for me to go with my distressed shorts. Since the color is bold and the blazer is statement enough on it's own, I went with a basic cami and a simple necklace. I was comfortable all day, well - not sweatpants and a tank top comfortable, but quite comfy all the same.

What I'm Wearing: I'm Blue A-badee Abadai

Hello dolls! I hope your week has been great!  It got too dark by the time I decided to shoot this outfit so bear with the awkward indoor posing (you can laugh if you want to). So as I was thinking of a title for this blog post that song "Blue" from circa 2000 popped into my head. You know the one I speak of right? It's pretty odd and now it's stuck in my head.

In other exciting news, I got a new phone! Hooray for that! When I was buying my new one the guy looking me up said, "Whoa, you have the Samsung Moment? It was time for an upgrade." Thanks guy for letting me know my phone was antiquated. I was trying to decide between the iPhone 4s and the new fancy Samsung Galaxy Nexus. At first I was pretty dead set on getting the glamorous phone that we all know as the iPhone 4s. My hubby got his new Galaxy Nexus in the mail and after scoping it out, I decided that's what I want too. It's very thin and has a beautiful screen. I am so excited for a phone that can do so much. My old used half a battery if I was on the internet for two minutes.
