What I'm Wearing: Astro Pop

Hello all! The more I look at this outfit, the more I feel like I look like an Astro Pop or like I am trying really hard to be patriotic. I got complimented on it though, so it must not have weirded the masses out. I bought this skirt for $1.20! How could I possibly say no to that? That vibrant blue AND accordian pleats? Shut the front door.

The choice of the red top was just kind of happenstance. I happened to see it at the top of my dresser and decided to roll with it. Do you think it's too much?

Top: Forever 21, Skirt: Value World, Shoes: Clothes Mentor, Belt: Off a dress

What's the verdict?

  1. What!? $1.20 for that gem of skirt? Shut the front door! Haha, I love it. The pleats totally sold me.
And no, I don't think it's too much. I honestly thought it made for a great colorblocking scheme :)

  4. I don't think it's too much at all! I love the combination of that blue and red - and besides, since the blue's on the lighter/brighter side, it doesn't really look patriotic. This is a fantastic outfit and it looks fabulous on you!

Thank you so much for stopping by! Your comments always make me giddy like a school girl on a sugar high. Leave your link so I can creep on you. The good kind of creeping. Not the kind where I hang your pictures in my room or anything. (awkward shuffle)
