What I'm Wearing: A Colorful Bouquet

Back to work...and no short week this week. Bummer city. I decided to combat my blues with a bright ensemble. I busted out one of my favorite summer maxi dresses and decided to make it work for today's 40 degree weather. It was easy enough - all I did was throw a goldenrod sweater on top, added a scarf and some boots (so my tootsies didn't freeze) and voila! A fun, colorful winter outfit.

I had to run into the grocery store after work to get a few things and three different men, all different ages mind you told me they liked my "skirt." I put skirt in quotations because A. this isn't really a skirt (I wasn't about to explain that to them) B. I am never really sure it's my clothes they like or if they are hitting on me - most likely the latter. Oh well, a compliment is a compliment and I'll take it.

Maxi dress and earrings: Charlotte Russe, Sweater: Goodwill, Boots: Bass Outlet, Scarf: Wild Iris

  2. I love this outfit! I've been yearning to wear some summery pieces the past week (I think it's the slightly "warmer" weather) I love what you did and I say take the compliments, although, to be honest, random compliments from men still make me uncomfortable!

The skirt is indeed very pretty, however, I am certain the three men were enchanted by your delightful smile;-)

  10. I love the floral dress/skirt. Ive been on a floral binge lately but haven't bought anything yet (looking for a floral button down and dress). This outfit takes advantage of the best about the dress - you look lovely.

Some guy walked up to me in Best Buy today and asked me if I wanted to switch hats with him. He was totally cray-cray.
