What I'm Wearing: Striped Capers

I have to say that Michigan weather shocked me again today. I had way too many clothes on for the 50 degree weather. Oh well. For once in my life I feel short on words, so I will just talk about what I'm wearing.

Let's start with the cape. Do you all love a good cape? This is my favorite that I own and it has a lot to do with the rich orange color. I also love the different silhouette that capes can give an outfit - an added level of dimension. I paired the cape with a basic striped long sleeve t-shirt, jeggings, riding boots and a fabulous statement necklace. I will have to get a close up of the necklace sometime because it is far more eye-catching in person than in the photo.
Striped top: H&M, Cape: A'gaci, Jeggings: Maurices, Riding Boots: Go Jane
Necklace: Arden B (gift), Handbag: Guess (gift)

Here is how you can get a similar look.

  1. Girl was this weather not amazing?! I drove around East Lansing with my windows down. Not to mention my skin was very confused by the warmth of the sun.

Great necklace. I love that color. And yes, I feel like I just stalked your blog on commenting as soon as you posted. But, you conveniently update at the same time I did :)

  45. I love how pulled together this outfit is.
the colors are so well mix and matched that i am smitten.
red was always one of my fave colors, and a touch of green can do no wrong when in little touches (so that you won't look like a christmas tree), i think the stripes of your top tone down the contrasting colors of red and green.
great outfit as always. and love how u show us how to get the style down ourselves.
i wonder if u could step by my blog,
my new post is one i want u to read and judge.
