Outfit Idea of the Day: The Tiered Skirt

Tiers of Ruffles. This is a look that I believe some women fear because of the volume. I have found that tiered skirts are quite a bit more flattering than I imagined. I like the pattern and color of this skirt, it's not in your face, but it still makes a statement.

Because of the volume and print in the skirt I think a simple shirt will do just fine. I chose this color to pick up the pink in the print of the skirt.

I realize this color is nowhere in the skirt or shirt but I think it really works well with both of the colors. The plain shirt needs a pop of color.

                                                                                                                                                                    I did not go with my obvious choice of heels on this outfit but instead found a cute an presumably comfortable flat. The lighter purple in this shoe coupled with the turquoise on the flower will tie all of the color palate together.

 Let your free spirit live with this fun patterned shirt and tribal inspired accessories.

I absolutely adore the colors of this shirt and the unconventional pattern. The back is really open and beautiful as well.

Outfit Idea of the Day: The Shirtdress

 The shirtdress is a classic look that never really falls out of favor in fashion. A nice 3/4 sleeve dress like this one in black is a great piece to own, a go-to look. I also think with the belt that cinches the waist, this dress could flatter most any figure.

Outfit Idea of the Day: The Sweetheart

 Softer colors and feminine touches make up this "sweetheart" look. I didn't show this outfit with jeans, but I imagine you all have a cute pair of jeans or a skirt that would look great with all of this.


I know I use forever21 clothing a lot but that's because it is cute and affordable and this tank has beautiful detail and a flattering cut.

Outfit Idea of the Day: Cute and Casual

 This is an everyday outfit that I think really any body type can wear. A classic printed top like this one in a nice neutral shade like olive leaves open a lot of possibilities. This particular shirt happens to especially flatter women with a fuller bust.This shirt also comes in the same pattern in pink, neutral and gray.

 Ahoy Maties! Nautical is all over this season and I think this a subtly cute way to get in on the trend.



I love this nautical inspired striped shirt. Usually I am not big on horizontal stripes but this one is really cute and easy to wear.

I love polka dots! And good news for me, they are a big trend this year. This dress is cute and lady-like with an adorable side ruffle. The gathered side waist is very flattering and this could be topped with a cardigan, blazer or even a cute cropped jacket until it warms up.
