What I'm Wearing: Long Lovely Layers

Today has been a bit crazy. I worked all day, then flew home to pack up to leave tonight. So this post is coming to you courtesy of hotel wi-fi. My mom and I are doing a shopping weekend together, and you will be pleased to know I already bought a black fringe poncho and a LBD at our first stop (TJ Maxx) for a total of $16.

Anyhow, about this outfit - I wanted to be comfortable, cute and fuss free. I paired a shirt dress with a longer cardigan and I love the fact the cardigan is just a little shorter than the dress. I am not accustomed to wearing a long layer over another long piece, but I think it looks rather fresh. I threw on some leggings, a fun statement necklace (that I got for $1.97), some clip -on earrings and flats. This look is very easy and more importantly, very comfortable.

    I think it is VERY cool that you go shopping with your mom. I don't get to see mine much but when I do... we do some damage together. We actually have quite similar taste. She rocks!
