Now I am off to sew with my mom. I received a sewing machine for Christmas and did a little of my first machine sewing on Monday. I sew about as well as a two year old colors in the lines. Do any of you sew? Do you have any good tips for sewing straight?

I think you should start doing pictures before work. That way while we're talking all day I can picture what you're wearing {in a non-creepy way, which is the opposite of how that sounded}.

oh wow I love to sew :) been sewing since I was 11 and making straight line takes a bit of time , just try to prctice relaxing - like not holding or dragging the fabric too tight or too lose.
