What I'm Wearing: A Scarf of a Different Color

TGIF!! How are you all doing? Do you have any fancy pants weekend plans? I wouldn't call mine fancy, but my first Christmas get-together of the year happens tomorrow with my mom's extended family. Don't you just love this time of year? I know I do.

I woke up in a funk this morning. The kinda funk where you hit your face against an open door, somehow manage to get you mascara across your cheek and put your panties on inside out all in the same morning. Boy, I'm a talent, aren't I? So anyway, I decided to go to my comfort zone and pulled out my shiny blazer, polka dot top, and jeggings. I looked in the mirror and said to myself "Could you be anymore boring right now?"  And that is when I saw that neon yellow-green scarf hanging there. It probably has absolutely no business being in this outfit, but I wanted to wear it, so I did.

I guess I don't have a lot else to say except for I love these boots and this scarf sheds like a mother.



My mom got me this darling quilted purse at the Goodwill for $.50. My mom is the best.

I love the unique grayish-brown color of these boots and the black accents are marvelous.
