What I'm Wearing: In(vest)ed

Well hello Monday, we meet again. I see you brought me some rain AND some snow. Not cool bro, not cool. How has your Monday been? Mine overall has been alright, but on the way home from Zumba it started snowing and the wind was blowing the snow so hard at my car it looked and felt like I was going warp speed. Those of you who live where it snows, do you have this happen? It feels like you're entering the Twilight Zone or something. Anyhow, I am sure that's not why you came here, so let's get down to business.

I've had that sweater and vest for a few years now and I still love them both! Mustard is back in a big way this season and I love the way it looks when paired with a rich brown. This outfit is all about being comfortable, yet chic.  If you don't currently own a pair of skinny cords, I would really encourage you to go to the store and try a pair on. These are so soft and comfortable that it's almost like wearing sweatpants. I added some brown riding boots, a faux leather brown vest and a leopard print scarf to give it that little extra somethin', somethin'. This ensemble actually makes me feel like a throw back pilot, Amelia Earhart style. Does it remind you of that too, or have I lost it?

Sweater: Dots, Vest: Dots, Skinny Corduroy Pants: Rue 21, Riding Boots: Go Jane, Scarf: Express

  4. OMG, Kassi. So, so cute. What I would love to find is a pair of corduroy skinnies with an elastic waistband. It's the holiday season, and I'm going to need something that can handle my epic food baby... babies. Whatevs.

  6. Kassi this outfit is awesome, I like the vest alot! So...please no more talk about snow. I am really REALLY dreading it... You would think after living in Chicago for my whole life...30 whole damn years that I'm used to snow and immune to freezing temps but no. I cannot handle it and I just want to hibernate for 3 months...gah!

Thank you so much for stopping by! Your comments always make me giddy like a school girl on a sugar high. Leave your link so I can creep on you. The good kind of creeping. Not the kind where I hang your pictures in my room or anything. (awkward shuffle)

Fashionably yours,
