What I'm Wearing: Hippie Dippy Trippy

The title is a reference to something I have heard Stacy and Clinton of TLC's What Not to Wear say many a time usually referring to oversized, weird or bad vintage clothing. I don't consider this outfit to fall into that category, I just wanted to use that phrase in hopes that Stacy and Clinton somehow randomly decide to Google "Hippie, Dippy, Trippy" find this post, and hire me. As you can tell, I am totally a realist.

Anyhoo, I did obviously go for a bit of a modern hippie vibe with today's outfit. You are all probably shocked that I am capable of wearing denim that isn't skinny jeans, but I do own and occasionally wear different fits. I fell in love with the wash of these slightly flared jeans and I couldn't refuse for the $15 they cost me! The vest was an amazing Salvation Army find. I love the colors, stripes and pockets. It was too cute too resist, just like Ewoks. Star Wars, anyone?

I am so authentically hippie in this photo. See me making that peace sign? I'm a genius.
Top: Maurices, Vest: Salvation Army, Jeans: JC Penney, Boots: The Shoe Dept., Vintage Cameo Necklace: Goodwill

Thank you so much for stopping by! Your comments always make me giddy like a school girl on a sugar high. Leave your link so I can creep on you. The good kind of creeping. Not the kind where I hang your pictures in my room or anything. (awkward shuffle)

Fashionably yours,
