What I'm Wearing: It's Sssssssunday

It has been so beautiful here in Michigan lately. We've been having gorgeous, sunny weather and it makes me so happy to be able to get outside and frolic. Yes, I frolic, and you should too. It was warm enough to wear this lightweight snake print tunic without having to layer it up. I was excited because I haven't wore this piece yet and I absolutely love it. I picked it up for $7 at a consignment shop with it's $99 price tag still on it. Hooray for a good bargain!

My love for snake print is getting almost as out-of-hand as my love for leopard - almost, not quite. I now have quite a few reptilian pieces in my wardrobe. There's nothing wrong with that though, right? I will just assume you agree with me. I paired this tunic with black leggings, bi-colored boots, a monogram "K" necklace, two geometric bracelets and some fun clip-on earrings. Is anyone else obsessed with vintage or fun clip-on earrings like I am? I'm loving that I can wear a heavier earring without the danger of my earring hole getting as stretched out as Joan Rivers' face.

  6. I just wanted to let you know that you inspired me a little as well. I am not a vintage shopper at all. I am far more partial to online shopping, Nordstrom, Dillard's & occasionally even Macy's. I like new things.

I can't help it, I buy cars new as well. I never once bought a used car. I can hear the financial people gasp but I just can't get past the fact that someone else had it first. Call me whatever you like as a result.

But... based in part on reading your blog...

I actually looked up a local consignment store and dropped by on Sunday. I found a couple of things. We'll see if this is the start of something or simply a one time thing?

  7. @Shannon Thank you- beautiful days are inspiring!

@Style Journey - I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one with an animal print addiction

@InkedandSewn - Thank you! That teal bag is very pretty.

@LeatherSkirt- I am so proud of you for trying out a consignment shop! What did you buy? I know it's a different experience from getting things brand new- which I also love, but the bargains are so much easier to swallow to me. Give it some more chances too, I don't always find something when I go- it can be hit and miss.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Your comments always make me giddy like a school girl on a sugar high. Leave your link so I can creep on you. The good kind of creeping. Not the kind where I hang your pictures in my room or anything. (awkward shuffle)

Fashionably yours,
